Press Release

The St George Company's local dealer Toplift Enterrprises of Stoney Creek Ontario recently sold a Seven EXMM150 excavator mulcher attachment to York Railroad Construction Inc. for clearing right-of-way (ROW) of railroad tracks operated by Southern Ontario Rail in southern Ontario.

The excavator mounting allows the EXMM mulcher to reach into areas not accessible by wheeled or tracked mounted mulchers. Featuring a large diameter rotor with a close ratio hammer configuration, which results in long hammer life and increased grinding capacity, the mulcher is capable of producing Classe I/Category I mulch. A fine mulch gives good ground cover and returns to nature quickly.

Mulching can have environmental and economic advantages over the use of chemical sprays to control brush growth by eliminating the potential danger to the soil and water table.

The Seven EXMM mulchers feature oversize roller bearings on the main shaft, a one piece welded body of Domex steel and skid plads made from Hardox steel giving the mulcher a long and productive life in tough conditions.

A hydraulicaly controlled gate ensures safe operation; the gate is open for cutting and closed for mulching.

A third member integral mounting bracket foot is available as an option.
